We believe the task of interior decoration is to convert the resources &
needs in to functionality, comfort, elegance & value for money. The tools
of this technology are science, arts, aesthetics & culture only.

| Our role |
We
offer a complete package on turnkey projects that includes designing, building,
furnishing, supply & installation of air-conditioning equipment, carpets,
PABX Systems and other accessories. We believe that the solution to your
interior, requires a forth dimension that is beyond just length, breath &
height. We name it “personal touch.”
We commit ourselves totally and offer a creative flamboyance on every detail.
Although we specialize on offices, we love doing homes, hotels and restaurants.
Backed by “The General Engineering Company”, our sister concern, we also have a
strong base on manufacturing modern steel furniture. GECO is fully equipped
with a complete setup of relevant hardware and machinery and acts as a backward
linkage for IHL.
We have a whole range of highly skilled labor force and sub-contractors for
masonry, carpentry, electrical, painters and fabricators for aluminum section,
false ceiling etc.

| The way we work |

Designing / Brain Storming
We employ a rigorous team of expert and efficient designers, who are constantly
working on innovating new ideas of designing to suite your taste and
necessities. As and when required, we employ consultants like architects and
engineers who put in their effort also to accelerate the pace & quality if
required.
Our work begins as soon as you call us in. We measure and record the dimensions
of the space which needs to be designed and produce a manual or a computer
aided layout showing detail placement, modifications and application of the
designs, furniture and fixtures, while leaving rooms for future expansion or
provisions if necessary. We draw perspectives that give you a real picture of
what your dream office or home will look like after we are through with it.
There use to be a charge for the designs or Layout plans, which we use to decide
with the client depending on the project size & involvement volume
mutually. Once the layout plan is confirmed we go for detail drawing of each
individual product like reception, working desk, sofa, chairs etc.
Upon approval of the sketches, we detail the estimates, giving you a variety of
options from local and imported materials. Based on mutual selections, we
provide the best suggestions to make your space modern & functional.
- Furnishing
We normally require a formal work order once these stages are crossed, and start
working with a confirmed deadline for finishing and hand over. This greatly
helps you to plan or chalk out your other related schedules accordingly.
Our field or site supervisors are employed to constantly monitor the flow and
quality of work. We only employ the very selected and expert workforces who are
on our company payroll to finish the job right in time. Above all, we highly
appreciate and value your comments at every stage.
- Renovation
The procedure of work for renovation is same as for a newly constructed space.
Sometimes the involvement is much enough as this process requires the
demolition of old or existing structure. Unlike building of a new office,
renovation often done while the office is in full operation. In such cases
temporary partitions are erected to seclude the working areas so that the
overall office is not disturbed. We put in our best efforts to renovate any
place equally well.
- Maintenance
We treat maintenance as a distinct and separate part of our job. The job usually
begins when a problem needs to be solved, like replacing a leaky faucet to
overhauling your old electrical connections to pest control. A lot of
perseverance is required to effectively carry out this task. Equally,
well-trained personnel are employed in this field.
Maintenance is done either on a daily basis or periodically once or twice a
month. Also included in our maintenance task, are the replacements of
furniture, carpets, repainting or taking care of any tiny detail that needs
attention. Our charges vary on the nature and extent of the work.
- Customized furniture
Backed by our sister concern (The General Engineering Co.), we customize
furniture to suite the designs and layout of your space. So the chances of any
furniture being too big or too small or unsuitable is negligent. We have
special furniture designers aptly experienced in this field to design furniture
that provide comfort, ergonomic posture, beauty, elegance, uniqueness and above
all economical.
Our customized furniture totally rules out the misconception that specialty
means sky-high prices. We rather offer a very reasonable and irrefutable deal.
Furniture designed by us can be selected from our range of catalogues. They are
sorted into several series that show the variety of furniture under different
categories, The prices, material and delivery dates are always a phone call
away.
- Signage
How you are seen is almost as important as how you operate. It is vital for you
to be reflected in your exact corporate image so you can register a sense of
consistency and trust among your customers. We scan your logo and digitally
process your designs while maintaining the exact colour codes conforming to the
Pantone standards.
We have built logos and signboards for IMF, New Zealand Milk, ACI, ISL, Kuehne
& Nagel, Texet and many other clients. We also build different type of
signs like; neon, plastic sign, billboards and other creative jobs employing
qualified set of people, those who have developed with the fine production of
various signs around the country.

Getting started with the Job
Our design costs are charged separately and we will need a formal work order for
its commencement. Before arriving at the final design, we may need to conduct
several meetings with you.
Furnishing your premises can either come in parts such as only making the false
ceiling, or as a complete package deal. This part of the job like all other is
treated separately. The job duration and completion time is largely dependent
on your requirements and the agreement of other terms and conditions.
